Jump start your reading journey with TruePhonics!

TruePhonics is a structured literacy program designed to teach the basics of reading, printing, and spelling through hands-on learning and a structured literacy approach, as used at the Reading Clinic.

This is an at home learning program for children ages 4-6, to jump start your child's learning and give you the tools to support their learning at home.

This is a Parent Led program. Resources and training videos will be provided in late June, to give adults all the tools they will need to work through the TruePhonics program at home with their child. Participants will have access to weekly drop in calls (see the 'Schedule' tab) to ask questions and get support as they need it.

This is a Level 1 class, designed for beginner and emerging readers. If your child has a good handle of English vowels and consonant sounds, and is comfortable reading short words (Consonant Vowel Consonant or cvc words) and even short phrases, they may be more comfortable in our Level 2 class. If they are not yet comfortable with phrase or sentence level reading, we recommend the Level 1 class.
