3D Printing Club | Gadgets invites students to explore the intersection of engineering, design, and innovation by creating functional, gadget-inspired projects using professional 3D modelling software and fabrication tools. Participants examine how everyday devices are designed for usability, efficiency, and durability, applying principles of measurement, precision, structural integrity, and iterative design. Throughout the program, students design, prototype, test, and refine practical creations such as phone stands, cable organizers, mechanical tools, modular accessories, or custom utility devices, strengthening spatial visualization, critical thinking, and digital fluency. Emphasis is placed on the engineering design cycle, encouraging students to analyze constraints, improve functionality, and optimize their models for real-world use. Each participant prints and keeps their completed gadgets, building a portfolio of purposeful designs while developing confidence in applying modern fabrication technology to solve authentic problems.
